They say great art leaves you changed after the experience, and Elizabeth's Secret’s is a testament to this truth. This is one of the best books I’ve read in years. I loved the author and cursed him for making me cry so early in the book. THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE! I cry at the end, maybe the last quarter of a book, but never in the beginning. I was drawn into the story immediately and found my heart pounding along with the characters. I found myself hoping and praying along with them too. My heart broke and was uplifted again. My ears rang. Alexander is a true American talent and Elizabeth’s Secrets is a masterpiece.
